ESSEX PARTNERSHIP UNIVERSITY NHS FOUNDATION TRUST is seeking an Associate Practitioner to join the West Essex Epping Forest Community Mental Health Team. You will assist in caring for service users under guidance, mentor students, and supervise unqualified staff while supporting various clinics and duty rotas.

You will provide health promotion and practical guidance, help with risk assessment, and escalate safeguarding concerns as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and care of service users under the guidance of the Team Leader.
• Act as a mentor to students and junior staff, and supervise unqualified staff.
• Lead and run physical health clinics.
• Support the clozapine and depot clinics where required.
• Support the team's duty service on a rota.
• Organise and follow up on clinical outcomes after assessments.
• Provide healthy lifestyle and health promotion advice.
• Assist senior clinicians in risk assessment and care-planned interventions.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate as needed.
