Job Description:

Panthera Partners is working exclusively with the energy portfolio company of an international PE mid-cap fund to hire a Financial Modelling & Valuations Associate for their London team. The platform develops, invests in, and manages complex energy projects across emerging markets, with a focus on LPG and LNG power generation assets.

This role can be fully remote or in the London office.

The Associate will evaluate existing energy assets, build and audit financial models, and provide recommendations and reports for senior management and investee companies. The role supports project-level initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong technical skills and a commercial mindset to join an experienced team managing high-value energy assets.

Our client offers the chance to work on both operational and development-stage assets within a lean, collaborative environment.

  • Strong financial modelling and Excel skills, capable of building, developing, and auditing complex models from scratch
  • Experience with valuations using DCF, precedent transactions, and trading comparables
  • Ability to review and interpret commercial agreements such as PPAs, EPCs, shareholder, and financing documentation
  • Experience or interest in the power or energy sector, within roles like financial advisory, corporate finance, audit, investment banking, infrastructure funds, valuation firms, or an IPP
