Award-winning consultancy seeking to expand their Portfolio Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic asset allocation skills and proficiency in Python programming.

Role Overview

This position involves leading strategic asset allocation and portfolio design advisory services tailored to meet the diverse investment needs of global clients. The strategist will conduct in-depth analysis across various asset classes including public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, debt, infrastructure, and real estate, providing clear, actionable advice to optimize client portfolios.

Responsibilities

1. Design and present customized investment solutions, acting as a consultant and expert to clients, guiding them through complex strategic asset allocation and portfolio construction across multiple asset classes.
2. Utilize advanced analytical methods to analyze, interpret, and present data, offering strategic insights to clients.
3. Develop and refine analytical tools essential for service delivery.
4. Support business development and client acquisition efforts by presenting to prospects, authoring thought leadership pieces, and collaborating with Relationship Managers.
5. Enhance the profile of the Portfolio Solutions team through research publications.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Proven experience in investment management or consultancy, with exposure to multi-asset class, multi-manager portfolios, and private markets is desirable.
2. Experience within the fund management industry, gained in asset owner, manager, or adviser roles.
3. Strong understanding of major asset classes and portfolio theory, with skills in strategic asset allocation and portfolio construction.
4. Proficiency in financial analysis techniques such as efficient frontier analysis, simulation, regression, private markets cash flow, and time series analysis.
5. Ability to interpret and replicate academic or practitioner research papers.
6. Proficiency in Python programming for analysis and tool development.
