Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Cambridge to lead medium to large projects across Healthcare, Life Science, Tertiary Education or Defence sectors. You will oversee inception through delivery, coordinating with design and construction teams to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have consultancy experience, Chartered status, and a strong grasp of CDM regulations, with a demonstrated ability to mentor staff and drive project success in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Professional qualified in Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying.
• Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or equivalent.
• Experience working in a consultancy.
• Experience in Healthcare, Life Science, Tertiary Education or Defence construction sectors.
• Strong understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Management Commissions and deliver successful outcomes.
• Undertake line management or supervisory responsibilities and mentor team members.
• Lead internal AECOM Project Team Meetings and coordinate with wider teams.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality standards across project outputs.
• Develop client relationships and manage design, tender, and contract activities.
• Support business development and fee proposals while ensuring compliance.
