The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a Planning Lawyer to join a growing and highly skilled team in Sheffield. You will work on a diverse range of projects, from high-profile DCO mandates to major energy and infrastructure developments, gaining exposure to some of the most exciting and complex work in the field.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting partners in delivering major energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Advising on development consent orders (DCO), compulsory purchase matters, planning applications, appeals, and judicial reviews.
  • Handling marine licences, EIA and HRA processes, and public local inquiries.
  • Collaborating with teams across the firm, including Real Estate and Energy groups, on significant real estate and infrastructure transactions.
  • You will work with renowned developers, energy companies, utilities and public bodies, contributing to innovative solutions in a fast-evolving sector.

  • A qualified solicitor with NQ-3 years of PQE.
