Company Description

Planners are the strategic drivers of our product teams, shaping the inventory and financial strategy behind every product. Interpreting and balancing current sales, inventory analysis, financial goals, and emerging trends, our Merchandise Planners build strategies that maximize product success and profitability. They forecast future product performance, establish sales strategies across domestic, international, and e-commerce channels, and strategically manage inventory worldwide.

This job is located at our Regional Head Office in London, England.

What Will You Be Doing?
  1. Driving sales and margin for your department(s) by crafting assortment architecture and strategizing department and mid-level plans by region and channel.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop business strategies, manage profitability, and react to change while making strategic decisions based on current sales and inventory data.
  3. Researching the global market and leveraging insights to build compelling and profitable financial plans.
  4. Forecasting and implementing product distribution strategies by analyzing sales data and store inventory levels, with variations by channel.
  5. Presenting selling and inventory analysis, performance-to-plan results, and strategies to senior leadership, providing insights on sales, customer trends, and ideas.
  6. Managing inventory and pricing strategies at the key item and SKU level.
What Do You Need To Bring?
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
  • Experience in Merchandise Planning
  • Passion for the A&F brands and the role
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ability to thrive in team-based settings and collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • Desire to manage a portion of a multi-billion-dollar business
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence in communicating with senior leaders
  • Ability to balance analytical skills with creative interests
  • Adaptability and capability to work in a fast-paced environment
