Associate Planner Job in Leatherhead, Surrey

Associate Town Planner or Principal Town Planner job available with a growing consultancy focused on the utilities and infrastructure sectors. The role provides a clear progression pathway, with the opportunity to lead and develop a team in the East of England (based in Norfolk, Oxford, or Surrey). Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading a small team of planners to deliver environmental planning services
  • Oversee feasibility assessments, screening, planning, and project coordination
  • Provide advice on technical related reports and planning applications
  • Business development and stakeholder engagement, including technical specialists and local authority planning offices
  • Liaise with clients directly and oversee team performance to meet the client's requirements
  • Stay up to date with the relevant legal, regulatory, contractual, and organisational policies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Chartered MRTPI
  • Proven experience working within a consultancy, local authority or real estate firm
  • Experience with utilities or infrastructure projects is highly desirable
  • Client-facing and project ownership experience
  • Good knowledge of GIS systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
