Our client, an independent firm of actuaries and employee benefit consultants, is seeking an Associate Pensions Consultant to support relationship management with a portfolio of clients, focusing on DB pensions consulting.
This role is ideal for someone who is either an existing Associate Consultant or a Senior Pensions Administrator aiming to progress in consultancy, with the goal of managing their own client portfolio and supervising junior consultants.
The candidate will assist senior consultants in designing and implementing funding, investment, and contribution strategies for pension schemes. Responsibilities include preparing materials for governance/trustee meetings and supporting new business tenders.
Applicants should have prior Pensions experience in consultancy or administration and possess good commercial awareness. Experience with both DB (defined benefit) and DC (defined contribution) schemes is preferred, with some flexibility regarding specialization. The ideal candidate is personable, aspirational, and eager to advance in a busy consultancy environment.
