Alliance Healthcare Management Services Limited in Newcastle is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to support our Service Centre. Working 29 hours per week, you will replenish stock, pick and pack orders, and route shipments through the transport network in a fast-paced pharmaceutical distribution environment.

You will follow SOPs, maintain accuracy, work safely, and collaborate with colleagues to hit targets.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• <2 years in warehouse support/distribution operations preferred.
• CSCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations processes and stock movement.

Responsibilities

• Replenish stock within automated picking systems.
• Pick and pack customer orders across multiple picking areas.
• Route completed orders to transport and distribution channels.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity in handling products.
• Follow SOPs and quality requirements at all times.
• Support smooth flow of products through warehouse operations.

Work Pattern: Part Time, 29 hours per week. Monday to Friday 16:00-22:00, Sunday 08:00-13:00, Saturday plus 1 rotating day off.

Salary: £13.07 per hour

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
• Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.
• Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials.
• Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations.
• Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements.
• Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.
• Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs.
• Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.
• Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.
• Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
