Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals is seeking an Associate Operations Manager in the MSK Directorate to coordinate daily service delivery and drive improvement within musculoskeletal services.

You will liaise with clinical leads and support teams to optimise capacity, performance and patient experience, ensuring governance standards are met in a busy hospital environment. This is a collaborative role that requires clear communication, problem solving and the ability to manage competing priorities.

For secondments you must have the approval of your line manager before applying. Interviews are due to be held on 24th November 2026. All appointments with a start date on or after 1 October 2026 will be subject to a 12-week probationary period. This provides a structured and supportive period to help you settle into your role, with regular reviews and feedback. Right to Work As there is a 12-week probationary period, successful candidates are expected to have the Right to Work for a period of at least 6 months from the proposed start date.
