Job summary

NEW VINE LIMITED seeks an experienced Associate Director of Music in Greater London to lead our choir for secondary-aged children and to support our broad programme of choirs, children’s and youth music, worship and community music.

The role includes coverage for the Director of Music during maternity leave and enabling a new adult choral scholarship scheme. Strong keyboard and directing skills, plus teaching and management abilities, are essential to inspire diverse ages and backgrounds.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic musician to support our diverse programme of choirs, children's and youth music, worship and community music. The Associate Director of Music will have particular responsibility for our choir for secondary-aged children.

The extra 4 hours in the role are guaranteed for the first year, to cover some responsibilities for the Director of Music during maternity leave as well as the first year of a new adult choral scholarship scheme. The hours will be reviewed at the end of this time.

We are looking for someone with strong keyboard and choir-directing skills, as well as management and teaching capability, experience of church music, and the ability to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds.
