This team enables automation at Amazon Robotics Fulfillment centers, supporting Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics teams by providing real-time and offline (image/video) data auditing services. A key focus is maintaining inventory accuracy in fulfillment centers.

An Associate in this role is responsible for reviewing videos of stowing actions, understanding them thoroughly, and using human judgment combined with tools to identify activities captured in the videos. They verify or mark product locations to ensure high accuracy, aiding in maintaining stow quality. This operational role involves performing precise video/image audits under supervision, contributing to defect reduction through high accuracy and speed.

Key job responsibilities

1. Review several hundred videos per shift, ensuring high standards of accuracy, speed, and adherence to best practices.
2. Maintain a dedicated workspace if working from home, ensuring privacy and proper setup.
3. Work in rotational shifts, including nights, and be flexible to adapt to schedule changes.
4. Take scheduled breaks and spend 6.8 to 7 hours daily on video audits.
5. Follow safety protocols, including switching on camera during virtual meetings if working remotely.

Candidate requirements

• Willingness to work in a non-tech role for a 6-month contract.
• Ability to audit images, videos, and texts with high attention to detail, even in blurry or low-quality videos.
• Ability to meet incremental quality and productivity targets.
• Maintain consistent performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights, and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
• Readiness to attend office occasionally if working remotely.

A day in the life

Associates work in a 24x7 environment with rotational shifts, including night shifts with applicable allowances. Shifts are typically 9 hours, including breaks, with schedule changes every 3-4 months. Weekly offs are rotational and may not align with weekends.

About the team

The Data Auditing Operations team supports Amazon Fulfillment facilities by conducting visual audits on short videos (15-20 seconds) to ensure proper stowing and inventory accuracy. These audits enhance automated processes and maintain high stow quality, with performance evaluations and coaching provided.
