Job summary

The Parish of St. Peter's Halliwell in Bolton is seeking an Associate Minister to work with the Vicar to nurture, shape and lead growth across four church families and sites in Bolton.

We are seeking a prayerful, Spirit-led leader who can develop servant leadership, grow small groups, strengthen prayer ministry and pastoral care, and help share the Gospel throughout the town in partnership with our breadth of volunteers and partners.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be a motivated, prayerful, faith-led self-starter who will be a team leader and player – collaborative, pastoral, encouraging, and eager to get things done.

Responsibilities

• Relational and organised – able to support leaders and ministry teams across the churches, to lead and manage pastoral, operational and administrative teams and to be the first port of call for pastoral offices.
• A thoughtful, engaging and insightful preacher and teacher of the Bible to groups of different sizes, ages and stages of faith.
• Passionate about growing Christian disciples, engaging and serving the wider local community, and encouraging all to explore their vocations.
• Energised by seeing new things grow – and bringing experience of leading missional activities which have seen measurable growth.
