Job Description

Planners are the strategic drivers of our product teams, shaping the inventory and financial strategy behind every product. Interpreting and balancing current sales, inventory analysis, financial goals, and emerging trends, our Merchandise Planners build strategies that maximize product success and profitability. They forecast future product performance, establish sales strategies across domestic, international, and e-commerce channels, and strategically manage inventory worldwide.

This position is located at our Regional Head Office in London, England.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Driving sales and margin by crafting assortment architecture and strategizing department and mid-level plans by region and channel.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop business strategies, manage profitability, and adapt to change based on current sales and inventory data.
  • Researching the global market to build profitable financial plans.
  • Forecasting and implementing product distribution strategies by analyzing sales data and store inventory levels, with variations by channel.
  • Presenting selling and inventory analysis, performance-to-plan results, and strategies to senior leadership, including customer insights and trend ideas.
  • Managing inventory and pricing strategies at the key item and SKU levels.

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
  • Experience in Merchandise Planning
  • Passion for the A&F brands and the role
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners
  • Desire to manage a portion of a multi-billion-dollar business
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence in communicating with senior leaders
  • Ability to balance analytical skills with creative interests
