Associate Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services
London
Up to 80,000 per annum

A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role in delivering high–calibre building services design for prestigious residential and hotel developments across the UK and internationally.

The Role:
You'll lead mechanical design across multiple high–end projects, working closely with architects, developers, and internal teams to create sustainable, technically excellent engineering solutions. Youll also mentor a talented group of engineers and contribute to strategic growth within the London office.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee mechanical design from concept through to completion.
Lead and coordinate project delivery within deadlines and budgets
Liaise with clients, design teams, and external stakeholders.
Ensure technical excellence and compliance with current standards.
Support and guide junior engineers and technicians.
Drive innovation in low–carbon and sustainable design solutions

About You:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent)
Chartered or working toward CEng status (CIBSE, IMechE, etc.)
Proven experience delivering complex mechanical designs in the built environment.
Strong background in luxury residential and/or hospitality projects
Able to lead design teams and manage client relationships.
Skilled in industry software such as Hevacomp, IES, and Revit
