Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical building services design in consultancy, contractor, or multidisciplinary env.
• Good understanding of mechanical building services principles and design processes.
• Experience producing mechanical calculations, drawings, specs and documentation.
• Knowledge of BS, Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical building services designs per project requirements, standards and best practice.
• Perform heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic water, drainage calculations and design tasks.
• Produce and review schematics, layouts, specifications and calculations.
• Manage and develop a team of mechanical engineers.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical and other services.
• Assist with site surveys, inspections and investigations.
• Support tender and construction stages with technical queries.
