Job Description:

I am currently working with an owner-led MEP consultancy in the City of London seeking an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established team in their new office.

As an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with project start-up and defining key project elements.
  • Setting up project deliverables and initial resources.
  • Meeting regularly with engineers and reporting scope, fee, delivery, and resourcing changes to the Operations Director.
  • Conducting quality reviews and milestone QA checks.
  • Handling special works projects, surveys, and reports.
  • Assisting with fee production and updating standard company templates such as reports and specifications.
  • Working under client direction to interpret project needs for full delivery.
  • Managing a team of engineers.
  • Being hands-on when required.
