Position Overview:

We are the developer and manufacturer of the Omnipod Insulin Management System, and our technology has already helped thousands of people living with diabetes. Insulet is one of the fastest growing medical device companies and operates in Europe, Canada, and the US.

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Netherlands and Belgium Team to deliver our commercial plans and accelerate both patient acquisition and patient retention across the region by driving excellence in development, delivery and tracking of programmes.

The successful candidate will support the execution of the short- and long-term strategic plan, and develop, lead, and execute programmes that will accelerate both patient acquisition and patient retention. They will refine best practice processes to ensure efficiencies and consistencies in bringing new products and projects to the market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop excellent understanding of the Benelux insulin pump market including motivations of Key Players (HCP, Patient, Payer), barriers to access and identifying opportunities.
• Support execution of the short and long-term strategic plan.
• Collaborate closely with all cross functional team members including regulatory, clinical, medical education and legal/compliance to ensure streamlined processes for commercialisation activities.
• Responsible for MLR (Multi-Level Review) approval for marketing collateral.
• Manage and assist with localisation of marketing collateral and in country translation review.
• Lead vendor relations and the collateral fulfilment needs for regional projects and programmes.
• Responsible for logistics and event management for the National Conferences (as required).
• Support with product related sales support material across the region.
• Develop and support Benelux social media, digital activities and influencer/brand ambassador programs.
• Develop strong partnership with the Insulet Field Team to support and maximise opportunity through this channel.
• Collaborate and support team members on International projects to successful completion.
• Support Medical Mail Order (MMO’s) activities in the Netherlands
• Manage the local sponsorship process
• Manage local advertising assets and campaigns

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business/Engineering/ Science.
• Ideally has experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical or consumer marketing function.
• Experience in diabetes is a bonus.
• Versed in MS Office package, Adobe and database applications

• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Ability to work in a complex and collaborative environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to project plan.
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Good Excel understanding and basic modelling ability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent, complex, and cross-functional projects required.
• Passion and drive to support people with Type 1 diabetes to live life to the full.
• Excellent communication and social skills.
• Self-starter, team player and result oriented.
• Easily adapts to new/changing environments.
• Knowledge and experience of the Dutch and Belgian diabetes markets.
• Direct to Consumer experience.
• Understanding of the EU Med Tech promotional guidelines for healthcare professionals and direct to consumer.
• Marketing asset approval process and systems experience

Travel

• Will be required to do quarterly field rides.
• Attend all project related tradeshows or conferences and required internal meetings.
