Job summary
AGCO Corporation is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to support the Legal team in EME on a wide range of issues. You will draft and review commercial agreements, conduct legal research, and manage contracts while liaising with external counsel as needed.
The role involves interfacing with various parts of the business, handling legal queries, and supporting company secretarial activities, with a hybrid work arrangement and competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- 0–12 months of experience working in a legal team as a qualified junior lawyer
- Degree level qualification in Law, General Diploma in Law (GDL) or CILEX Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice
- Legal Practice Certificate (LPC) - Nice to have
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in relevant sector
Responsibilities
- Draft and review a wide range of commercial agreements and maintain accurate legal documentation.
- Utilize AI tools to increase efficiency and demonstrate a curious mindset, finding new ways to improve processes within the team
- Conduct legal research, prepare reports/advice, and ensure high accuracy in all deliverables.
- Manage contracts and handle legal queries efficiently using contract management systems.
- Assist with legal advisory, litigation matters, and company secretarial activities while supporting team initiatives.
