Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking a Commercial Counsel 2-5 PQE to join the EMEA legal team in the Chesterfield area with hybrid working. You will work on multi-jurisdictional, high-value commercial agreements and partner directly with business leaders on strategic transactions across the EMEA region.

The role offers exposure to technology and AI initiatives within a forward-thinking legal function, with real responsibility from day one and opportunities to shape processes and governance.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2-5 years PQE gained in private practice and/or in-house.
• Strong commercial contracts experience with sound business judgement.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and commercial acumen.

Commercial Counsel 2-5 PQE | EMEA | Chesterfield (Hybrid)

An exciting opportunity for a commercial lawyer to join the EMEA legal team of a leading global business. Working within a lean, high-performing legal function, you will gain exposure to complex, multi-million-dollar commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictions, partnering directly with business leaders on strategically important transactions throughout the EMEA region.

The role can be based from Warrington, Chesterfield or Bracknell, with hybrid working.

This is far more than a traditional contracts role. You will advise on a broad range of commercial matters, negotiate high-value international agreements, and develop a practical, risk-based approach to legal advice. The team is particularly interested in lawyers who embrace technology and are excited by the growing role of AI within legal teams.
