A high-profile opportunity for an in-house Legal Counsel Associate with a business that operates global brands. Based in Watford with occasional travel to the Central London office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the Head of Legal and legal team with day-to-day responsibilities and advise on commercial contracts across the business.
2. Assist with drafting commercial agreements including distribution, supply, agency, consultancy, sourcing agreements, and service contracts.
3. Help draft and update internal company policies and provide legal support to management.
4. Carry out HR tasks such as drafting employment contracts and assisting with disciplinary and redundancy procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

1. At least 2-3 years of post-qualification legal experience or completion of para-legal training.
2. In-house legal counsel experience in a commercial entity is desirable.
3. Must be positive, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills.
