UCL Eastman Dental Institute seeks a full-time Associate Lecturer or Lecturer (Teaching) for a 10-month fixed-term position. The role involves teaching and supervising Master's and undergraduate students in Psychology. The ideal candidate holds a PhD and has a strong teaching and research background.
About the role
This post is offered as a GRADE 7 Associate Lecturer (Teaching) or GRADE 8 Lecturer (Teaching).
The position is full-time (FTE) on a fixed-term basis for 10 months, starting 1st September and ending 30th June.
The salary will be according to the non-clinical academic pay scale (including London allowance):
Associate Lecturer (Teaching) - Grade 7: £46,000 - £51,000 per annum.
The successful candidate will primarily contribute to the Master’s programmes in Cognitive Neuroscience and undergraduate programmes in Psychology at the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences. Responsibilities include seminars, lab sessions, undergraduate/postgraduate lecturing, supervision of research projects, personal tutoring, examining, and related administrative duties.
About you
The ideal candidate should have a PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or a related field. They should have a proven research record, teaching and examining experience, and excellent communication skills.
