Job Description:

We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Lecturer to teach the following undergraduate modules:

• Psychosocial Understandings and Reflective Practice (10 weeks in term 3, Thursdays 6-9pm)
• Psychodynamic thinking and helping practice (10 weeks in term 2, Thursdays 6-9pm)

Requirements:

• Secure knowledge of and training in psychodynamic counselling at an appropriate level
• Current therapeutic practice experience
• Experience in teaching, ideally in higher education
• Experience in participating in and leading experiential groups
• Qualified counsellor with a specialization in psychodynamic thinking and practice
• Ability to lead experiential groups confidently
• Awareness of and attention to the needs of mature learners
