An opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join the Infracapital Finance Team within M&G Investments. This role is to support financial operations, reviewing management accounts and annual reports for the investee entities and other ad-hoc finance tasks.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate - Finance to join the Infracapital finance team. You will be responsible for supporting the team with:

  • Operational duties
  • Concise record keeping
  • Quarterly reporting
  • Assisting with the year end audit and accounts reviews
  • Invoice processing and management and general ad hoc Finance tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with external suppliers, reviewing and processing company wide invoices, managing operational cash flows and maintaining accurate records of invoices and approvals
  • Responding to investor queries relating to finance matters
  • Ad-hoc departmental tasks; e.g. maintaining well organised and up to date files and records (bank statements, assets registers)
  • Working with the TPA to arrange quarterly Board meetings and drafting related Board packs
  • Reviewing of management accounts and financial statements of investee entities
  • Liaising with auditors and dealing with their queries, including managing audit timetable and documentation requests
  • Investee companies - manage drawdowns and distributions with Investee companies and the TPA
  • Coordinating and reviewing the preparation of the tax returns with the tax advisor

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual, preferably with experience in a financial services or administrative environment.
  • You will have a strong work ethic, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and are comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • You will be flexible, proactive and able to work using initiative.
  • You will be conscientious and able to prioritise workstreams.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills and be keen to build and maintain strong relationships in a team environment and within the wider business.
  • A desire to learn is essential and if interested, there will be opportunities to develop within the team with professional qualifications.
