SLR’s Archaeology & Heritage team operates across European Region from our UK offices in London, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Southampton, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and Sheffield. We advise our clients on a wide range of projects, across multiple sectors and throughout the planning process.
Key services include: feasibility and design input, due diligence, formulation and undertaking of desk-based and field-based investigation and mitigation strategies, and discharge of planning conditions. From small-scale proposals for single residential properties to large-scale multi-disciplinary EIA projects on behalf of both private- and public-sector clients, we pride ourselves on delivering successful projects and adding value for our clients.
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven consultant to join our expanding Archaeology & Heritage team based out of one of our UK offices, with the option of hybrid working patterns. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of exciting projects across the UK and will have the opportunity to have a major role in developing our client base across various sectors.
About your role
As an Associate Heritage Consultant, you will play a key role in managing and delivering projects across various sectors, including the Built Environment and Renewable Energy sectors. You will provide expert guidance and support the growth of our heritage services, working closely with clients, planning authorities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with heritage legislation and best practices.
You will also be responsible for preparing technical reports, i.e., appraisal and feasibility studies, heritage statements and impact assessments, desk-based assessments, statements of significance, and EIA cultural heritage chapters.
