Your duties will include:

  1. Managing and overseeing site investigations, contaminated land assessments, and environmental risk assessments.
  2. Designing and implementing remediation strategies to mitigate contamination risks for development sites.

  5. Collaborating with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  6. Writing and reviewing technical reports, including Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, remediation method statements, and validation reports.
  7. Supporting business development activities, contributing to tender submissions, and identifying new business opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.
  2. Extensive experience (8+ years) in geotechnical or geo-environmental consultancy, particularly in land contamination and remediation.
  3. Proven track record in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. In-depth knowledge of contaminated land regulations and experience in preparing remediation strategies.
  5. Strong communication skills, with experience in liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  6. Chartered or working towards chartership (e.g., CEnv, CGeol, CSci) is desirable.

What you'll get in return:

  1. 25 Days annual leave in addition to bank holidays.

  9. Supportive family policies - whatever your parenting journey is, we will offer support when you need it.
  10. Enhanced parental leave - we stand above other companies in our field, offering a significantly enhanced scheme for maternity and paternity leave.
