A leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to advise on various employment law matters across EMEA and APAC regions. The role involves managing legal issues, providing guidance on compliance, and working closely with senior management. Ideal candidates are confident, commercially aware, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a strong background in employment law.
Jefferies is looking to hire an experienced employment lawyer, with a strong track-record working in-house in a fast-paced financial services environment (preferably investment banking) and/or experience in private practice at a leading firm with a substantial focus on advising a financial institution client-base. International experience is required as responsibilities will include managing (directly and with support of external counsel) legal and HR issues arising in EMEA and APAC jurisdictions in which the business operates. As well as being a subject matter expert, the candidate should have the confidence and initiative to support senior management, including Regional and Global Heads of corporate and business lines.
