About the role

The Associate General Counsel of Corporate and Executive Director of Rippling Payments UK will oversee governance for Rippling and its UK entity, reporting to both the Deputy General Counsel and the UK entity's Board. This is a SMF-approved role.

Responsibilities include corporate counseling, strategic transactions, securities compliance, and managing the operational, financial, and strategic goals of Rippling Payments UK.

What you will do

  • Lead global corporate governance initiatives, compliance, and subsidiary management.
  • Draft and review SEC and international filings, disclosure materials, and governance documentation.
  • Support the Board and Committees, including drafting agendas and minutes.
  • Manage securities and equity programs.
  • Advise on investor communications and strategic transactions.
  • Oversee daily operations of Rippling Payments UK, including product development, sales, marketing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage resources, report on strategic goals, and maintain stakeholder relationships.

What you will need

  • 8+ years of legal experience in regulated fintech or financial services.
  • Law degree (J.D. or equivalent) and qualification to practice in the US, UK, or EU.
  • Experience with corporate legal issues in highly regulated industries.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starting, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.
