Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Senior Games Designer to form the long-term creative vision for the F1 series in live service.
  • Collaborate with all team disciplines, including artists, QV, engineers, and producers to support and guide features from initial design to live service.
  • Collaborate with designers on the annual teams to understand the potential and long-term vision for existing and upcoming features.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including game design documents and design briefs.
  • Design complex systems and tune them for specific goals.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve high-quality results within constraints.
  • Take a holistic approach to quality and delivery to ensure the feature set and execution create the best possible product.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative methods to validate and improve ideas.
  • Work with Data and Analytics teams to understand the impact of updates, features, and balancing changes, utilizing data to inform future updates.

Your Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Designer working in medium/large teams within the video game industry.
  • Experience in console and mobile game development.
  • Ability to understand why an idea will or won't work and how to quantify results.
  • Design and implementation experience with game features that include live service and economy management components.
