de Lisle Financial Planning is seeking an Associate Financial Planner to join our Gloucestershire practice. You’ll start by supporting client meetings, preparing documentation, and researching planning solutions, while learning the profession from the ground up.
As you grow, you’ll take on more client relationships and planning work, with a fully funded Diploma and structured pathway to becoming a regulated adviser offered along the way. This is a long-term career move with mentoring.
Salary: £35–£50k (depending on experience) plus bonus
Are you already working in financial planning, or have you built a successful career elsewhere and feel ready for something more rewarding?
Perhaps you've started your journey towards becoming a Financial Adviser, or you've developed exceptional client relationship skills in another professional environment.
de Lisle Financial Planning is an established business that prides itself on building long-term relationships with clients, delivering highly personal financial advice, and taking a genuinely client-first approach.
You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, an experienced Chartered & Certified Financial Planner, and the Practice Manager, learning the profession from the ground up. This is a role built on substance as much as client contact — you'll get fully immersed in the administration, research, and planning process that underpins every piece of advice, giving you a genuine, practical understanding of how financial planning really works rather than just a surface-level view.
As your knowledge, confidence and qualifications develop, there is the opportunity to progressively take on greater responsibility for client relationships and planning work.
If you're looking for a long-term career rather than just your next job, we'd love to hear from you.
Initially you will:
As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll take on greater client-facing responsibility, potentially including leading client meetings and, over time, holding responsibility for specific client relationships.
We'd like someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, is highly organised, and takes real pride in getting the details right.
You’ll have:
Experience within financial services, accountancy, or another professional services environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Above all, we’re looking for someone with a genuine client-first mindset who wants to build a long-term career in financial planning.
