Job summary

Semtech is seeking an Associate Engineer, Analog Design in Stansted, UK, to join our analog engineering team. In this entry-level role you will support analog circuit design, testing, and characterization across the full development cycle.

You'll assist with schematic capture and layout, help develop basic analog blocks, run simulations, and support bring-up and testing of analog circuits on the bench. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to grow in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years in analog design or related role; entry level.
• Basic knowledge of analog circuits and electronics principles.
• Experience with measurement equipment and circuit simulation.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support analog circuit and component design; assist with schematic capture and layout; help develop basic analog blocks and functions; support simulation and modelling; maintain design documentation.
• Assist with testing and measurement activities; set up and operate lab equipment for analog characterization; collect performance data; support test fixture development and calibration.
• Support analysis of measurement data; assist with verifying circuit specifications; compare measured results against simulation; participate in troubleshooting and debugging.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with measurement equipment and circuit simulation.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics and specifications.
