About the Role

This is a key leadership position in a dynamic and growing building services engineering environment.

As an Associate, you’ll be entrusted with managing projects from concept through to completion, with responsibility for quality, client relationships, budgets, and team performance. You’ll take charge of multiple projects, provide technical guidance, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative, sustainable, and commercially sound electrical design solutions. You’ll also play a significant role in business development, staff mentoring, and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Take ownership of project finances, resource allocation, quality assurance, and timelines.
  3. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
  4. Provide on-site support and technical guidance during construction and installation phases.
  5. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  6. Contribute to business development, bid preparation, and client relationship management.
  7. Support senior leadership in planning, strategic decisions, and delivery of business objectives.
  8. Maintain high standards of quality, professionalism, and technical excellence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in leading electrical design in the building services sector.
  • Strong technical capability with the ability to manage complex engineering challenges.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • A commercial mindset with experience managing budgets and securing new work.
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Effective communicator with strong client-facing skills.
  • A degree in electrical engineering or related discipline and Chartered (or working toward Chartership) status.
Why Apply?
