Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a small team of Engineers, ensuring quality design output and technical excellence.
  • Lead project delivery across multiple sectors, coordinating with internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of resource planning, balancing workload and team development.
  • Oversee project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring profitability.
  • Prepare and present fee proposals, building strong client relationships and supporting business growth.
  • Contribute to P&L management, supporting the financial health and expansion of the Manchester office.
Qualifications
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Proven consultancy experience in Building Services, with a track record of leading projects.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring engineers at different levels.
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards.
  • Commercial acumen, with hands-on experience in fee proposals, budgeting, and financial oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
