Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering electrical building services designs within a consultancy or contractor environment.
• A degree or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer, or commitment to achieving registration.
• Excellent attention to detail and client service.
• Strong project leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects and coordinate project teams.
• Manage project risk and ensure delivery within scope, programme and budget.
• Take technical responsibility for electrical building services designs from concept through to detailed design.
• Review, supervise and support the work of engineers and technicians.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Produce technical reports, specifications and design information across all project stages.
• Use computer-aided design and Building Information Modelling software, including Revit, to develop project solutions.
• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, surveyors, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Attend project, client and technical meetings.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant legislation and health and safety requirements.

What You'll Do

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you'll lead electrical engineering projects and support multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Leading building services engineering projects and coordinating project teams.
• Managing project risk and ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, programme and budget.
• Taking technical responsibility for electrical building services designs from concept through to detailed design.
• Reviewing, supervising and supporting the work of engineers and technicians.
