About the Role

BrainStation is seeking a full-time Associate Educator to join our team, delivering lessons for our Data Science program. Educators have the opportunity to teach, research, and work on real analysis problems while shaping the future of education.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to BrainStation’s Data Science Diploma program, impacting students' careers across campuses
• Deliver lectures and mentor students in Data Science
• Facilitate activities, group discussions, demos, and provide feedback on student work
• Apply Agile Education methodologies to improve the educational experience
• Enhance your skills and collaborate with faculty to develop digital content and tools
• Define the future of education

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a Data Scientist or Analytics professional and relevant Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python (numpy, pandas, sklearn, TensorFlow, Keras), and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly)
• Experience with numerical and categorical modeling, supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Practical experience designing data science processes and conducting experiments
• Experience in teaching or mentoring and comfortable speaking to large groups
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Empathetic, friendly, approachable demeanor
• Passion for education and creating positive learning experiences
