Associate/Principal Ecologist

About The Role

We are working with a world-class engineering services organisation, operating within the infrastructure and energy sectors.

Our client is looking for an Associate or Principal level Ecologist to work alongside the team by bringing their expertise on large-scale and complex multidisciplinary projects.

Our client has offices across the UK and offers flexibility of point of hire (West Midlands, South Wales, Cornwall, North-West of England, Scotland…)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex infrastructure project, from client interaction, stakeholders, team mentoring, project programmes to budgeting.
  • Plan and undertake field surveys, coordinate ecological mitigation and reviewing ecological reports and licence applications. Strong knowledge of bat ecology required.
  • Ability to seek and engage with other areas of business and create business opportunities.

Skills & Attributes

Our client is looking for a Chartered Ecologist or Environmentalist, with experience in Nature based solutions and bat ecology experience. Good experience in project management is key whilst the company offers a strong mentoring and development programs to their employees. Additionally, the position offers flexible working and other key benefits.
