Job summary

AMCL, a leading asset management consultancy, is seeking an Associate Director to lead major client engagements in the UK & Ireland transport sector. The role focuses on strategic advisory, delivery leadership, and building long-term executive relationships to grow AMCL’s transport practice.

You will coach teams, shape innovative asset management solutions, ensure safe, high-quality delivery, and drive cross-selling opportunities with clients and partner firms.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within the transport sector, gained through infrastructure owners, operators, consultancies or a combination of both.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex consulting engagements, transformation programmes or infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading major client commissions, with accountability for delivery excellence, client satisfaction, commercial performance and profitability.
• Acting as Engagement Director for complex programmes and strategic advisory engagements across the transport sector.
• Building trusted relationships with executive and senior leadership teams, becoming a valued long-term advisor.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that achieve measurable value for clients.
• Shaping innovative and pragmatic solutions to address asset management, infrastructure performance and organisational challenges.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, to a high standard and in line with client and business objectives.
