Role Overview

The Associate Director is responsible for leading stages of the off-net access delivery cycle, including identifying partners, assessing access feasibility, delivery, account settlement, supplier management, and service experience improvement. The goal is to ensure timely and cost-effective off-net quoting and delivery. This tactical role influences the operational plans aligned with business strategy, impacting the overall results of the business unit.

Responsibilities

1. Identify regional access suppliers and competition to facilitate last-mile delivery.
2. Lead negotiations with potential access suppliers on contractual capabilities.
3. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Explore opportunities to expand business with key vendors through new portfolios and order types.
5. Collaborate with product teams to develop new technology solutions with partners.
6. Design feasible off-net access solutions considering route maps, power and path diversity, tailored to local market needs.
7. Support sales and cross-functional teams in negotiations for special pricing, non-standard offerings, and expedited delivery to enhance win rates.
8. Manage vendor contracts for network maintenance and installation to ensure optimal operations.
9. Conduct performance reviews with suppliers covering pre-sales, delivery, and post-sales support.
10. Contribute to jeopardy and contingency planning to meet delivery timelines.
11. Possess experience in telecommunications, especially managing telecom partners.
