Job Description

Position Overview: The Special Projects Manager will support the Chief of Staff (CoS) in executing the strategic vision of Acuity Knowledge Partners. This position is critical in managing strategic projects, supporting the Executive Committee in strategic decision making and fostering collaboration among teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and proven experience in project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Support:

  • Assist in the development, execution and reporting of strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the CoS and senior leadership.
  • Prepare and analyse reports, presentations, and proposals for senior management and stakeholders.

Strategic Initiative Leadership:

  • Drive high-priority initiatives from initiation to completion, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Organize and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collective goals are met.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and cooperation on key initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments to enhance collaboration and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Act as a liaison between the Chief of Staff and other teams, facilitating communication and information flow.

Reporting and Governance

  • Supporting the Chief of Staff and the wider Executive Committee to be a high performing team.
  • Support monthly board reporting.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years’ working experience including 3 years' experience ideally in strategy consulting. Private equity, corporate finance and transaction services experience will also be considered.
  2. Ideally with some financial services, business services and technology sector experience.
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  4. Proven advanced analytical skills using Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences including Investors, Executive Committee, senior leaders and all team members.
