Job Summary
This individual will be responsible for leading the delivery of our current portfolio of projects at Sizewell C, as well as developing and implementing a strategy for future diversification and growth at Sizewell C and within the wider UK nuclear new build market. This is a strategic role within our business.
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual with experience working on nuclear new build projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of our current projects at Sizewell C.
- Develop and own the Sizewell C growth plan, including value propositions and partnerships to position Tony Gee strategically at Sizewell C.
- Reinforce existing and establish new relationships with key clients and stakeholders to achieve growth targets at Sizewell C.
- Establish local supply chain partners to support delivery, contributing to Sizewell C social value objectives.
- Identify, track, and maintain leads and enquiries, ensuring accurate capture in the market pipeline.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for Tony Gee at Sizewell C site, attending meetings with clients and stakeholders as required.
- Collaborate with the Head of Power & Energy and Nuclear Group Director to lead business development and sector profile development, representing the company at industry events.
- Lead the production of Sizewell C bid responses with support from technical and business development teams.
- Oversee the overall performance of Sizewell C projects within the market at the portfolio level, working with Project Directors, Engineers, and Technical Leads to meet project objectives.
- Provide technical and project delivery leadership within your field of expertise.
- Stay informed about industry standards and protocols.
- Conduct nuclear SQEP reviews of staff prior to deployment on projects.
- Promote a culture of health, safety, and welfare.
- Engage in civil/structural design of nuclear new build projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary design, project, and commercial aspects of projects.
- Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills.
- Maintain a client-focused approach.
- Experience with nuclear life extension or decommissioning projects is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Civil or structural engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent industry experience.
