Job Title: Associate Director – Quantity Surveyor (PQS)

Location: Leeds, covering Yorkshire

Salary: £60,000-£65,000 (negotiable depending on experience) + extensive benefits; car allowance + bonus + health and well-being initiatives

Kenton Black International is supporting a leading global consultancy in their search for an Associate Director in Quantity Surveying for their Leeds office.

The Company: A global organization built on innovation and collaboration, with a presence in over 50 countries. Operating across 17 disciplines, they serve sectors including private residential, leisure, commercial, public sector, education, housing, industry, manufacturing, and industrial.

The Opportunity: Join a growing office with a clear pathway to Divisional Director. We seek candidates with a proven track record in delivering high-quality cost management, quantity surveying, or scheduling across project lifecycles in various sectors.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Pre and post-contract duties, including cost estimates, procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
  2. Acting as Employers Agent: overseeing project contracts, ensuring compliance, managing risks, and coordinating stakeholders.
  3. Conducting feasibility studies and preparing procurement reports.
  4. Estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans.
  5. Producing monthly post-contract cost reports and interfacing with clients throughout project stages.
  6. Managing cost variances and change control processes.
  7. Performing cost risk analysis and contributing to value engineering; negotiating and approving final accounts.
