Job summary

Cambridge Consultancy is seeking an Associate Director – Quantity Surveying to lead high-profile Residential sector projects from feasibility through handover, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and mentoring junior staff.

In this permanent role you will act as a senior member of the team, delivering advanced cost planning, contract administration (JCT/DB), S106 management, and IRR-driven commercial frameworks for investment partners.

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartership preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Residential sector experience desirable.
• Senior level experience in private practice or cost consultancy.
• Strong client-facing and meeting leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-profile Residential sector projects from feasibility to handover.
• Conduct comprehensive quantity surveying and contract administration (JCT/DB).
• Manage Section 106 contributions and viability assessments; ensure timely payments.
• Develop cash flow models for IRR; draft commercial frameworks for risk sharing.
• Primary client contact; mentor junior surveyors and trainees.
