Role:Associate Director – Quantity Surveying
Location: Central London
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Working Pattern:4 days in the office, 1 day remote

A leading independent project and cost consultancy is seeking an experienced and ambitious Associate Director (Quantity Surveying) to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of their cost management team. With a strong presence across the residential, arts & heritage, education, and commercial sectors.

The Role
As Associate Director, you’ll help drive the expansion of the cost consultancy function taking ownership of project delivery while nurturing and developing a growing team of cost professionals. Working directly with clients, you’ll lead by example, bringing energy, clarity, and technical excellence to every stage of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver pre- and post-contract cost management services across multiple sectors

  • Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business development

  • Manage and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth

  • Oversee financial and commercial performance of multiple projects

  • Contribute to internal strategic planning and the long-term development of the cost consultancy service

About You

  • MRICS qualified with strong technical expertise across multiple sectors

  • Proven leadership skills—experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff

  • Outgoing, confident, and client-focused with excellent communication skills

  • Ambitious and proactive, with a genuine passion for delivering quality outcomes

  • Comfortable in a client-facing role with the credibility to represent the business at a senior level
