investment. Duties & Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Take complete ownership of high-profile Residential projects (values c£5m-£40m+) from early-stage feasibility through to final handover. Core Commercial Delivery: Execute end-to-end quantity surveying and Employer's Agent duties, including advanced cost planning, pre-contract tendering, and robust contract administration (predominantly JCT and Design & Build). Section 106 (S106) Management: Quantify financial contributions for local infrastructure, draft economic viability assessments, monitor legal compliance milestones, cost-estimate on-site community assets (such as affordable housing), and audit completed public infrastructure works. Investment Partnership Advisory: Build detailed cash flow models to calculate IRR for partners, conduct financial and title due diligence on potential investment partners, draft risk-sharing commercial frameworks, and establish transparent tendering processes that align public procurement laws
with private sector pace. Client Engagement: Act as a primary client contact, managing expectations, delivering strategic advice, and nurturing long-term relationships through exceptional communication. Team Mentorship: Play a pivotal role in senior management by supporting, guiding, and upskilling junior surveyors and trainees Desirable Experience: Previous experience within the Residential sectors is highly desirable. Proven track record at Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate level within a private practice or cost consultancy. Exceptional client-facing capabilities with the confidence to lead complex project meetings. MRICS Chartership is preferred, though candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.
