Job summary

Associate Director Quantity Surveyor in Birmingham is sought by a £30m multidisciplinary consultancy to spearhead growth of the Birmingham QS offering. The role involves forming client relationships, leading projects, and shaping the future direction of the QS function.

The successful candidate will have a strong consultancy QS background, autonomy, and commercial mindset. There is a clear path to Technical Director as the business expands.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in spearheading the growth of the Birmingham QS offering
• Develop and build new client relationships and contribute to business development
• Lead and develop the Quantity Surveying offering across the Midlands
• Run traditional contracts and provide strong commercial and Quantity Surveying advice
• Work across a varied portfolio including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, office fit-out, heritage and insurance
• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the wider multidisciplinary business
• Help shape the future direction of the Birmingham QS function
