Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking an Associate Director for its Project & Programme Management Team. The role demands leading complex projects, managing client relationships and delivering governance across Scotland and the UK, with a focus on continuous improvement and business development.

You will own and drive initiatives to develop opportunities, lead fee proposals, and mentor junior team members while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification (or equivalent) in a construction related discipline.
• A professional member of a recognised professional institution (MRICS, MAPM or equivalent).
• Strong leadership and client-facing capabilities.
• Experience delivering project management services in a client-facing role.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering projects via recognised PM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion with minimal senior support.
• Articulate construction industry knowledge and technical excellence to Clients and colleagues.
• Develop client relationships and accounts; act as main client interface.
• Manage project accounts, governance, and resources to ensure commercial success.
• Oversee delivery against AtkinsRéalis policies, toolkits and standards.
