Built Alliance are delighted to be partnering with one of the North's fastest-growing construction consultancies as they look to appoint an ambitious Associate Director Project Manager to join their Leeds office.
Take ownership of framework-led programmes across the healthcare and education sectors, leading client relationships and a small team as part of the senior leadership group. These projects will deliver meaningful, positive impact to communities across Yorkshire and you'll play a central role in shaping both their delivery and the continued growth of the Leeds office.
The consultancy has gone from strength to strength over the years, building a reputation for being people-first and sustainability-driven. Their innovative approach has seen them consistently deliver projects to the highest standards, and they continue to stand out as a practice that balances commercial expertise with social value.
What they're ideally after:
You'll be an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in healthcare or education construction, though other sectors will be considered for the right person. You should be comfortable leading client relationships and managing a small team of PMs and APMs, confident with tendering, procurement and contracts (JCT and NEC preferred), and have a genuine track record in business development and growing client accounts. Strong stakeholder management across the public sector is important, as is a real interest in sustainability, Net Zero and ESG.
Responsibilities:
You'll own client relationships and lead delivery across a portfolio of projects, managing and developing a small team of PMs and APMs along the way. Projects will run from early RIBA stages through to completion, working closely with schools, NHS Trusts, local authorities, funders and design teams. You'll oversee cost control, procurement and contract administration under JCT/NEC, support business development to help grow the Leeds office's client base, and embed sustainability and ESG best practice throughout.
