We are seeking a high-caliber Associate Director for our Project & Programme Management Team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will lead a team of project and programme management practitioners, delivering high-quality projects across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

You will demonstrate a proven track record in leading and delivering effective project management services, with a commitment to continuous improvement and business development. You will work collaboratively with sector and service leaders to develop our business and achieve strategic goals.

Key Attributes:

  • Motivated and collaborative Project Management Practitioner with experience in delivering best practice on complex projects.
  • Recent client-facing project management consultancy experience in development, commercial property, or public sectors is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience as an NEC Project Manager is essential.
  • Ability to articulate construction industry knowledge and technical excellence.
  • Proactive in developing client relationships and accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute construction projects throughout their lifecycle, using best practices.
  • Build positive relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary client interface, ensuring service delivery and project success.
  • Oversee project financials, governance, and resource management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members.
  • Drive new business opportunities and prepare fee proposals and bids.
  • Lead large, complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Maintain current knowledge of legal and technical matters relevant to construction.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a construction-related discipline or equivalent.
  • Membership of a recognized professional institution (MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent).
  • Proactive, collaborative approach with initiative.
  • Experience leading project management services in a client-facing role.
  • Experience building client relationships and networks.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and deliver successful projects.
  • Knowledge of UK building contracts (NEC, JCT) and procurement routes.
  • Understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Valid UK driving license.
