Job Description

We are seeking an experienced social value consultant responsible for supporting our clients in delivering measurable societal outcomes. The role involves supporting social value delivery on ongoing projects and developing capabilities for future projects and business acquisition.

The Social Value Consultant will be part of the Economics & Economics Development (EED) Team within AECOM’s Buildings and Places sector. The team operates across various sectors including energy, nuclear, transport, water, residential, commercial, and regeneration, with experience on major infrastructure projects such as High Speed Two, Heathrow Airport, Sizewell C, and A303 Stonehenge.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead social value initiatives across multiple infrastructure projects
• Develop strategies to meet client social value objectives
• Create monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess social value performance
• Oversee the preparation of social value reports for clients
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Provide guidance to enhance social value delivery and share best practices
• Understand procurement processes in large infrastructure projects and identify social value opportunities
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and pursuing new opportunities

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in social value work within consultancy or client organizations
• Strong project management skills and team leadership capabilities
• Data analysis and presentation skills, familiarity with Excel and Social Value Portal TOMs System is advantageous
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience leading meetings
