Overview

Associate Director (PQS) — £67,500 - £75,000 DOE — Manchester

We have an opportunity available for an Associate Director to work with an award-winning building and construction consultancy based on the outskirts of Manchester with on-site parking. There will be occasional travel to regional offices. This is a great opportunity for an established Associate or a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee Cost Planning/Budget Estimation
  • Drive delivery of projects across sectors including Residential, Social Housing, Education, Heritage, and Local Authority
  • Be part of the leadership team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Proven track record in business development and securing repeat and new business
  • Manage contracts, procurement processes, and dispute resolution
  • Ability to manage and train less experienced staff
  • Cost control, risk management, and value engineering
Requirements
  • Employer's Agent experience is advantageous
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage and train less experienced staff
  • MRICS Accredited in Quantity Surveying
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full Driving License
